The Corson House at Keltic Lodge

The Corson House at Keltic Lodge

The Corson House at Keltic Lodge in Ingonish is situated in a stunning oceanfront location that evokes images of the famed Scottish highlands in the midst of Cape Breton Highlands. Perched high on a cliff surrounded by the Atlantic with views of Cape Smokey, it's hard to imagine a more idyllic spot; charmingly decorated guest rooms are cozy havens. The Corson House is conveniently located beside The Spa at Keltic, and steps from the Arduaine Restaurant. All rooms boast generous windows, to capture incredible views from the Middle Head Peninsula. At the Corson House, known as Taigh Corson, you'll feel right at home in air-conditioned guest rooms that include a range of thoughtful amenities for a relaxing stay; guest rooms offer amenities such as a coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, cable TV and a direct-dial phone. There's a lot to do here, from swimming in the outdoor heated pool, tennis, the pleasures of fresh and saltwater swimming beaches, an 18-hole Stanley Thompson golf course and an AVEDA spa – even mountain biking and sea kayaking! Taigh Corson is named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Corson (friends of Alexander Graham Bell) who bought this piece of property, and built the original Keltic Lodge in 1910 as a summer retreat from the hustle of the city.
